Hello C ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛
And greetings from the Flunstellas Organisation.
You have been specially pre-selected by the Organisation because of your aptitude in the field of Science, the Arts or Spirituality.
We are writing to you as part of our ongoing outreach campaign. We are committed to enabling as many people as possible to get involved with the flunstellas project. We are aware that the world of the paranormal is treated with blanket skepticism by the majority of the general public. Often understanding of flunstellas has been repressed by this culture of skepticism.
Counter to this, we know that there are people out there are who are not entirely disconnected from the emotional and psychological apparatus that allow them to ‘receive’ the Flunstellas signals. We believe these signals are all around us, in a similar way to TV and radio signals, and so many people will have unwittingly experienced them.
Considering the above, we are instigating the ‘repressed flunstella experience’ project. The R.F.E. form is a synthesis of previous witness statement forms. Its creation has been a vital collaboration between the three wings of the Organisation, the most substantial in fact since the 2006 Saddleworth Moore conference. We feel that the collaborative input from the Flunstellas (Spiritual), Flunstellas (scientific) and Flunstellas (Creative) wings, has made this form our most comprehensive and accessible to date and is hopefully a symbol of things to come.
We will analyze the contents of the form. Unless the psychological profiling shows up traits of extreme suggestibility, you will become a full member of the Flunstellas Organisation.
If public knowledge of your membership of the Flunstellas Organisation would jeopardize your personal, religious or professional relationships then we will alter your name and blur your photo and personal details. We encourage members to talk about their involvement, but also, as many of our more high profile members appreciate we take confidentiality very seriously.
Yours Sincerely.
Rob Petrov, Neil Winterburn & Janine Reding.
Before you go on to complete the rest of this form it is important that you are emotionally, and psychologically prepared. First, wherever you are try to relax, slow down your breathing, and become aware of your peripheral vision. It is good to be aware of the hustle and bustle that is around you. Later you can use that noise to disconnect from your usual “ego”. Read the page below titled “Mental Excursion”. Take your time.. ..The more you slow your mind down, the deeper you can delve as you sift through it. Next read (if you haven’t already), print out the jpeg file called “witness_drawing.jpeg” and make your drawing on it. This will be of the flunstellas as you remember them. Then scan it into your computer and attach it to the email along with this document. Send them both to. neilwinterburn@gmail.com Alternatively you may choose to use some digital means of producing the image such as in paint or photoshop. Remember flunstellas appear differently to different people. Try and be as creative as you can. Represent what was different about the way the flunstellas appeared to you, use whatever material, or style you think best represents your experience. |
Mental Excursion We have found a general pattern amongst these first hand flunstella experiences,,,
Following this pattern, We’d like to take you back to a time when life was quite hard.
It was a time when maybe you had given up hope.
The pattern repeats the convergence of two events, time and time again. One is internal and the other external.
First the internal event would have been that, for some reason you had given up on your dreams, someone maybe yourself, had let you down. You’d hit a brick wall….you’d given up hope.
Simultaneously you would have found yourself in a social space, amongst people. Sometimes this may have been a waiting room, a supermarket, a pub or on public transport…?…?
We’d like to take you back there…to find out if you discovered redemption, as you lost yourself. Picture the scene. Wherever you were, think! Was it busy?.. What time of day was it? As you mood sunk you found yourself fading out of the situation… Your ego was evaporating….
You realize that everyone else in the room also has had similar pain in their life. Your focus becomes diffused, your peripheral vision widens and widens…
You feel yourself lifting away from your body, as you pull up, floating, seeing in many direction’s at once. As you lose their sensation you realize just how tired and tense your muscles were.
As you float up, taking in the whole room, you start to notice movement, things moving subtly across each other, in a multitude of directions, at varying speeds. You start to see ideas, memories and emotions as they slowly become visible, moving around the room. Eventually after some time you realize…
These ideas and memories are not yours. You can see people’s fears, their work memories, images from their childhoods, secrets they tell no-one.
Maybe you can tell who these ideas belong to. Maybe you can’t. You can see how these ideas relate to each other, how one links to others near it, they are connected in a way that resembles constellations.
They move in unison like flocks of birds, or shoals of fish.
Now make your drawing… |

Briefly describe any previous paranormal experiences, you believe you may have had: |
|
Up until now none – I was a little skeptical before now. |
|
In your own words describe the (flunstellas) phenomenon as you experienced it: |
|
I was at a friends party, a little tipsy and it was around half twelve at night. It had been a bad night and I’d just had a fight with my best mate. I phoned a taxi to go home but they said they’d be about 45 mins.
I slumped onto the sofa to wait. Half awake and half drunken stupor I thought I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It’s hard to describe but it was as though black swirls slung through the air and rested on the faces of some of the people at the party.
It was like somebody had drawn cartoons over the faces of a group of lads drinking in the corner they looked so funny I couldn’t stop laughing but as I blinked they were gone.
The guys that they had touched were oblivious they had no idea what had happened
|
|
Describe any individual elements of the flunstella, (flunstellements) that stand out in your memory: |
|
The most memorable thing was the effect that I had on me – before I felt as though all I wanted to do was go home and go to sleep but after I felt really giddy and ended up canceling the taxi and staying at the party until the end
|
|
How did the flunstellas move through the space? |
|
Like oil swirling in water
|
|
Did the flunstellas appear to be the mind projections of one person or several? |
|
Not sure – I think one |
|
How did the different flunstellas interact with one another? |
They were like a flock of birds – all moving in the same way but with no real sign of communication. They seemed to swirl around the room until they found the right people to interact with to make me laugh.
There was no sound – if felt like in the seconds that I saw them that all the sound around me disappeared
|
Where were you when you saw the flunstellas? (Please describe the situation, what was the social context?) |
I was at a party in a house in Liverpool. It was a small two bed, terraced house. I was in the front room. There were 9 people in the room. 4 lads talking in the corner, two couples kissing and me.
|
What are your memories of the people in that situation? |
Drunk – really drunk. The couples were kind of in their own world and the lads were being a little obnoxious and telling rude jokes.
|
Please describe your emotional state, in the moments immediately prior to your experience (include any stress stimuli): |
I’d just had an argument so I was really angry and had planned to storm off home. When I found out that the taxi was gonna be ages I kinda felt a bit depressed and had decided to just wait it out. Then I kinda felt a bit sleepy
|
For the next part of the form you will need to use the Microsoft Word drawing tool. If you know how to use this then you can skip to page 12. Otherwise follow the instructions below.

The Flunstellas Organisation is not a cult.
The Oxford English Dictionary of Current English definition of "cult" is as follows.
“Cult
1) A system of religious worship directed towards a particular figure or object.
2) A small religious group regarded as strange or as imposing excessive control over members.
3) Something popular or fashionable among a particular section of society.”
We respond to the accusations that the F.O. is a cult with absolute disgust. The study of flunstellas is an attempt to liberate thoughts, not control them.
We find no relation between ourselves and the definitions ascribed to cults above.. Here follows our point by point refutation.
A flunstella is not an object.
Flunstellas are the opposite of objects. From what we understand of them, they are nebulous, dynamic systems, a result of the interactions of many discrete particles (flunstellements). They undergo constant metamorphosis, have no inside or outside and constantly change the number of flunstellements they are made up of.
You cannot objectify flunstellas any more than you can herd goldfish.
We have not observed any central organising flunstellements within a flunstella.
They do not appear to obey any known laws of physics, and certainly don’t behave as ‘objects’ in space according to the traditional Newtonian paradigm.
We do not impose excessive control over our members.
Naturally we have looked to the flunstellas when organising ourselves.
Flunstellas have no hierarchies, so we don’t either. Each member is free to investigate the phenomenon in the best way they can see fit, either working by themselves or in teams. All members contribute their time voluntarily. We have no formal leaders and no cult of personality, although some members may exude a greater influence than others. We believe that splitting into smaller cells and larger (Creative, Scientific and Spiritual) wing’s, frees up our members to follow their instincts and defends against the complacency that a single top down organisation may be culpable of.
We certainly are not popular or fashionable (although this is something we are working on).
We are a small but growing organisation, existing on the fringes of the parapsychology, spiritual and creative worlds, but with your help we will help the public realize that “flunstellas are all around them”.
Thank you for completing this form.
